Silverton CO
There is a place to get wicked lines in Colorado. Silverton CO is like no where else. My homie and senior photog at Snowboarder, Aaron Dodds went down there with Newsroom riders Chad Otterstrom and Wyatt Glenn. Hey were joined by Snowboard legend Frank Wells and southern CO shreder Skylar Holgate. Peep the pics here http://snowboardermag.com/freeze-frame/DODDS_Silverton_web/
Dummer edit!
Erich Dummer has taken an interest in cameras over the years and he actually bought a panasonic DVX from Gunson this year. Here is a little edit he did of a day at Keystone! enjoy

WHAT'S REALLY HOOD, BITCH???
Chain Link Fence!!!!!
I guess that makes us kinda hood since we did our fair share of bangin' on chains this season. Here is a few pics of the chain linkin'.
So..... we set up a spine with 2 sections of chain-link fence and it didn't work out as easy as they thought it would be. But Dummer, Wyatt, Austin and Maddy made it happen.
Austin getting the shot on everything he can. Fence close-out at Breck's abandon house. You will see a lot of this place in Bad Ideas and other vids as well next year.
Doing the best with mid-May conditions. The crew consisted of Austin, John Pape and Pat Camp on a sketchy fence jump to dirt gap to landing with big rocks poking out. Bad Ideas is right.
All I can say is Austin is mad hood with all his chain link shots. I heard he kicks it with DMX in his spare time. Keepin' it gangsta, Julike!

Ladies and Gentlemen Mr. Alex Trebek
How would it feel to get kicked in the face by this guy?
Well, he would kick ass in a battle royal against the other game show hosts, according to the poll. I still got Sajak's back cause he is a big time player! But a big props go out to Alex Trebek for kickin' ass and havin' this kick ass photo. You can tell he just got done kickin' ass or about to cause he has his shirt off. That's always a dead give away.

Jake Olson-Elm Edit.
So one day this winter, the weather was really crappy, the snow was really crappy, and none of the rails we went to were worth setting up. We heard from our friend Nate Harrington that a rather famous Minnesota rail which was capped a few years back, was now uncapped. We went to check it out. It wasn't much better than the other rails we went to but it had snow so we decided to cut our losses, set it up and just have a fun day of riding. I let the riders do almost all the filming and Jake and Austin did a bunch of sketchy followcams. Since that day Jake has been bugging me to make an edit of this footage, so i finally just gave it all to him and let him make an edit.
So here it is. A Jake OE edit of one day at the golf course.

cold filmer.
One day after we finished sessioning a rail we were all packed up and ready to go grab some food. All i wanted to do was get in the car and crank the heat, but Jake had another idea. let's set up a photo. so we spend 5 minutes trying to figure out how to set the timer on Jakes camera. Finally, we got it to work. This is Jake Olson-Elm, Austin Young, and John Hodge pumped on getting shots and me thinking about warmth and taco bell. and yes i wear those boots all the time.

Damage revisited superpost
Every year for the last 3 years, Damage Boardshop in Duluth, MN throws a post season event that is unrivaled as far as most people is concerned. they have a full setup on a patch of snow the size of a football field almost 2 full months after the season is over here in Minnesota. I have been at every event they have thrown and they just keep getting better. people from all over make the trip up to duluth and it always provides to be an amazing weekend both on and off the hill. I made the trip up with Jake Olson-Elm and Austin Young. We spent all day friday skating all the super fun parks in and around duluth, hanging with friends, and doing a little illegal camping and partying.
Mini ramps were skated. Games of skate were won and lost. Beers were drank. snowboards were ridden. tents were broken. bonfires were built. Victor had a birthday party, and a few people even got laid. All in all it was one hell of a weekend. If you didn't make it up there i strongly suggest you make it next year.
Here are some photos i managed to take.
Jake loading up for the long weekend.
Austin Young. Fresh outta the joint.
Plenty of people showed up.
even more people.
It was our good friend Victor's birthday the night before the event. Here he is with Jake.
Pete was there. (and he got photos of me wearing a rediculous sweatshirt.)
Matt Faust is cooler than you.
They built this incredibly poppy gap jump that became the center of attention for most of the day. i waited until it had been backflipped 7 times before i started taking photos.
Jordan Michilot backside 180
Jordan Michilot method 180
Jordan W nosegrabber
Tarah Michilot giving her brother a run for his money.
Austin young tindy
Jake was going twice as high as anyone.
Jake california dreamin.
Victor Simco is one of the coolest guys you'll meet. just look at his face in this photo. he's always pumped.
Robbie Walsh showed up and first run of the day without checking out the jump (didn't even know it was a gap) backflipped it. perfect.
Tom Bush. proper tailgrab. proper method. killer style.
Austin Young got a jailbird makeover.
Frauly got blunted.
Tom Bush nosepick.
Grover knows how to party.
A big thanks goes out to Damage Boardshop, Victor Simco, Morgan Pease, Matt Faust, Danny Nirene, and all the other friends who came out to partake in the weekend madness. Until next year.
Now go skate.
